Accuracy International (AI) was founded by British international target shooters in Portsmouth, England in 1980.
In 1985 AI won the UK MoD’s L96A1 rifle contract. The product of AI engineers working in close collaboration with UK special forces and government users, the L96 was a watershed in the design of tactical weapons…
Since those early days AI has supplied tactical rifles and associated equipment to over 70 countries, all under export licenses approved by the British government and become the leading supplier of sniper rifles in the world.
AI has a USA facility, with supporting USA suppliers, where the assembly and test of production rifles takes place for the US market.
AI USA also plays an integral part in the development of new products with input from the unique demands of US commercial, government and LE users.
